This privacy policy covers the website at www.guidesproject.org. Any links from this site to other web sites are not covered by this policy.

All the information that you enter in the GUIDES checklist is hosted in a secure environment. The GUIDES project will not disclose your personal information to any third party organizations without your prior agreement.

Registered users

When you register as a GUIDES website user, you create your own profile. Your user name will not be visible to other registered users. Profile information is used by the GUIDES project to provide you access to its website.

In addition, the GUIDES project will use your personal information to:

  • administer your profile with us;
  • provide you with notification of website information;
  • resolve technical issues that may arise;
  • provide you with the opportunity to give us feedback about the platform.

All users

All information that you provide via the GUIDES website (e.g. completed checklist on the website) are private and can only be shared by the individual that invited you to complete a GUIDES checklist project on the website, i.e. by URL or PDF.

Data is stored indefinitely in a secure location.  However, we cannot guarantee access to data at all times and can accept no responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of use of our website.
